Ages of children

Post  rockycat on Sun Apr 19, 2009 4:56 am

Is there any chance that we could have our children's dates of birth on our profiles, so that we can see at a glance how old other people's children are? I was looking at the routines thread for example, and it would be really useful to know how old the babies are, without trying to remember.

There you go all done for you, it's on the profile page and you can edit it from there. I imagine not everyone would want to put it there, but it's there for those who do, and it's only visable to members of the forum.

Thank you, but I'm obviously being a dimwit as I can't seem to do it. I enter the information in my profile and click save, but it doesn't seem to save it. I know others have done it okay so it's me doing something daft.

Have you enter all the dates, the day month and year? I tried doing it without the year but it wouldn't save it that way.

Thanks. I hadn't entered the actual dates, and it's working now.

Sorry I didn't mention it was dates did I? I was going to do it so you could put the age, but thought then it would need updating all the time, and I imagine not everyone would update so could cause confusion.
