We were discussing how we are going to do the group now the training course has finished. We have nominated someone to run next weeks group and a couple of "helpers" to set up and clear up at the end. Someone different will do it every week. We were also discussing about making new people feel welcome, etc. Also, what we are going to call the group. Need to think of ideas. Quite difficult to explain what we were discussing but I think it'll be more of a case of just going with the flow every week. Also, although it started at 1.30pm last week, it's going to be 1pm until 3pm every week from next week.

Going back to 1 o'clock cos that's what it's down as on those flyers with the timetable on. So people will probably turn up at that time. Not sure about subjects to talk about, think the person who's allocated to run the group that week is supposed to think of something! But like I say, think it'll all become clearer when we get into it.

I think so far as subjects to discuss goes it's another "go with the flow" thing most weeks then some weeks we'll do a particular topic. Viv suggested expressing for one topic so we could show new members how to use the breast pumps, weaning for another, and also we discussed having an antenatal session once in a while so pregnant ladies could find out about us before they give birth.

Booby group

The antenatal sounds like a fab idea to help Mums prior to having your bambino, and the expressing i was told not to express till my milk was fully establised at four week and think thats why i got the blocked ducts then the mastistis and if i'd of started expressing sooner probably never happened.Looking forward to it can't wait to get back to booby group. Very Happy

We spent most of the time coming up with names to vote on and after coming up with 6 or so we took a vote and the winner was............

Little Suckers!

The rest of the time was spent sorting out a rota for leaders and greeters etc and chatting to a couple of new mums who came along (lots of new tiny babies now, it's great!).
