Mei Tai sling Empty Mei Tai sling

One of the slings I use is a Mei Tai sling, or ABC (Asian Baby Carrier). It's a Kozy carrier (http://kozycarrier.homestead.com/welcome.html) and I've had great success with it. I first got it when Lily was about a month old and it was fantastic for just popping her in and out around the house and especially for breastfeeding whilst out and about. It means I don't have to make sure she's had a feed before I set off somewhere or make her wait until I get there, I can just feed her on the go. There was a period of a few weeks where she was at an inbetween stage with it - she was too small to have her legs out as she couldn't get them round my waist, but she was too big to have them tucked up in front of her like she did as a young baby. She's now grown and is fine with her legs out and we use it all the time again. I haven't quite mastered back carries on my own yet, I still need someone to help me get her in but I've only been trying back carries for a couple of weeks so I think we just need more practice.

I bought it from http://www.bigmamaslings.co.uk/zen-cart/ and there's tons of information on how to wear it at the Kozy website or at http://www.thebabywearer.com/.
